Assignment One:

Directions:   Students are to create their own blog using blogger to introduce themselves to the class.    What makes you unique.   Include pictures, quotes, and photos of your favorite things.    We will work on your blog together in class for the first week.    After everyone's blog is complete we will invite each other to view and respond to each other.   This will lay the foundation for our year into technology in my classroom.   Can't wait to learn all about my future students.

Technology to the rescue!

This year we will be incorporating technology into our lessons.    The class blog will be used for various student assignments, extensions, and research with collaboration.   I will be learning and practicing this along with you.   I hope to learn many new tricks from you all out there as we begin this journey in the fall.    Let's get ready to rumble!

Summer Reading:

All students entering 7th grade must complete the summer reading program by September 1st, 2012.
